Hi Music Lovers ! Welcome to the official web site of the Boulevard Blues band! In July 2010, the Boulevard Blues embarked on their first European Tour. The crew included Ari from www.acla.co.za as our sound engineer - to go without him was not an option. Based in Geertruidenberg, 87 minutes and 36 seconds away from Amsterdam (180km return by car, or 55 EUR return by public transport!) the band spent most of the time experiencing Dutch culture as it should be! After 11 gigs, the Boulevard Blues returned safely to Cape Town, albeit in drips and drabs. - Graeme, Richard and Ari returned first. - Greg stayed a few days longer in Belgium looking for Clogs. - John & Claudia went searching for family in the UK for a week... - and Rob spent 2 weeks in Germany, looking for the Warwick Bass factory, but apparently ended up playing Guitar Hero with twins Tim & Phil in Lobbach! The tulips are recovering, so are the Blues Fans in Holland and Belgium! Next up on the agenda is the 2011 Table Mountain Blues Summit on 26th November. Once again, Bloemendal Winhouse is the venue.
