Hey Bluesers, Blueseresses and Blueser
Chillins
Hope you all having a great New Year so
far.
But New Year's resolutions are
over so lets start smoking and drinking again and get on with the important
stuff........
like what is happening with Boulevard Blues this
month.
The Long Awaited new BB T-shirt is
available at all gigs.
If you are small or triple X
rated we've got a size for you.......and it looks good.
Well It's gonna be a new look
Boulevard Blues.....
After many many years of faithful service
Dale Collins has decided to leave BB and continue his musical
journey on a different road.
We wish Dale all the best for the future and hope
that whatever he does it is with much success.
Maybe there is a Dale Collins solo
project on the cards.........mmmmmmmm....????
If there is we will let you know.
Dale is irreplaceable so as a band we have decided
to continue as a 5 piece with the same energy and commitment to
spreading the blues as before.
Already Richard Pryor has had to dig a bit deeper
and you can now catch him playing a Strat....yes a Strat at the
electric gigs ...and an acoustic Ovation guitar for the
acoustic gigs..........It looks like he may have to bring up to 3 guitars to
gigs in future so donations to the Richard Pryor Guitar Fund
are welcome...he he he.
Also on the subject of Lead
Guitarists
Richard
Pryor has his own Rock Project on the go at
www.pebbleman.co.za
So if you are from the rockier side of life then
request a Pebbleman CD as they will be on sale at all BB
gigs

BB on the TV
On the 31st of Jan BB will be involved in a TV program with none
other than Dozi as the presenter.
It's a program on how Boeremusic has influenced SA bands and
guess what............ Somewhere along the line even BB has been klapped with a bit of Boere
Sous
It's a series with different bands including Valiant
Swart and will be filmed in and around Stellenbosch.
Yip!....It could be time to purchase that Blues shampoo,
And make the hair like Noo,
For the camera croo.
Main ingredient in Blues shampoo is Jägermeister
so mohicans could be the end result................Okay Okay time to
move.
Tune friends to mail this address if they want newsletter
updates or if they feel lonely and never get mail.
We still want to do your Corporate
Events, Children's Tea parties and Valedictory
